The opening of this perfume oil is a vibrant blend of sparkling citrus accented by a touch of fresh ginger, but it is the dry down that truly distinguishes this fragrance. As the citrus softens, a refined black tea note emerges that immediately reminded me of Dear Polly. While the two are not identical, they share an elegant, comforting tea accord that is both distinctive and captivating.
The tea in Imagination feels lighter, airier, and more transparent, lending the fragrance a refined sense of elegance.
What impressed me most was its versatility. Despite being marketed toward men, it never felt overtly masculine on my skin. Instead, it wore as polished, sophisticated, and quietly luxurious.
This is an exceptional fragrance, and as always, Mika has done an outstanding job.
This smells so good and applies beautifully. I have another vanilla musk oil from another company, and Mika's version is my favorite. So smooth and is exactly as named - vanilla and musk.
